CareCredit

CareCredit is a third-party program that allows you to finance the cost of your dental treatment. Since there's no waiting period with CareCredit, you can get the critical care you need today and make smaller monthly payments until the balance is paid off. You can customize CareCredit by choosing the length of time you need to pay off the balance (typically 6 or 12 months), and the payment amount that fits your budget. If you pay the balance in the agreed period, CareCredit will not charge you any interest.

In addition to dentistry, CareCredit works like a credit card for many of your wellness needs including vision, hearing, dermatology, and even veterinary expenses for your pet. You can apply for CareCredit at our Chesapeake dental office by speaking to a member of our team or apply directly online at CareCredit.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Bennett A. Thomas, DDS and Associates, we are in-network with Delta Dental Premier, Anthem BC/BS FEP Blue, Complete and Grid + Networks.

We accept all insurances as long as they are a PPO policy and allow the patient to go out-of-network. The patient would just be responsible for the difference between what we charge and what the insurance pays.

If you have questions about your insurance, please don't hesitate to contact our Chesapeake dental office at (757) 548-3238, and a helpful team member will be happy to assist you.

We are happy to file your dental insurance at our Chesapeake dental office regardless of whether or not you are in-network with us. Payments are due at the time of services, and we will collect the estimated patient portion and file the rest with your insurance. If for any reason the insurance does not cover all that was estimate you will be responsible for the difference.

Please call us at (757) 548-3238 if you have any questions about your dental insurance.

Welcome back!

We want our patients to be aware that their safety is our primary concern. Our office has placed additional precautions to protect our patients and staff during this unprecedented time. In addition to the recommendations by the ADA (American Dental Association) and CDC (Center for Disease Control), we have implemented the following in our office:

1. The office was recently equipped with a UV air filtration disinfectant system, located in each operatory.
2. Prior to entering the office, all staff members and patients will complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken and recorded.
3. Strict rules of social distancing will be followed. Patients will stay in their cars until notified to enter the building. Only patients will be allowed in the operatory rooms. Please call ahead if any special accommodations are needed.

We are here to help and look forward to seeing your smiling faces!
